Irene Arnold, age 94 of Constantine, passed away  Wednesday, November 28th, 2012 at Fairview Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Centreville. She was  born in Marshall County , IL on April 11, 1918, a daughter of  Arthur and Myrtle (Sullivan) Dowty.  On November 27, 1935 she married Reuben Arnold in Goshen, IN. He preceded her in death in 1985.



Irene worked for numerous years with the Three Rives Hospital in many capacities. She was a devoted employee and friend to her coworkers. Irene greatly enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid sewer and crafter.



Surviving are her daughter  Linda  Buel of Constantine, sons  David (Jane) Arnold of Hastings, MI, Dan (Margie) Arnold of Atlanta, GA,  10 grand, and 16 great  grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Kenneth Arnold, daughter Margery Arnold, son-in-law Don Buel, 4 brothers and 3 sisters most recently Maxine Wertz.



Relatives and friends will be received December 8th from 10 to 11 am at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine where Memorial Services will follow at 11m. with Reverend Dennis Smith officiating. Interment of Ashes will be in the Constantine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre.
