Henry C. (Hank) Wickey, age 89, of Three Rivers, and formerly of Centreville, passed away Sunday, February 22nd, 2009 at the Fairview Living Centre in Centreville. He was born in Nappanee, IN on February 8, 1920, a son of the late Chris and Susan (Helmuth) Wickey. On June 23, 1942 he married Suzanne Hostetler in Burr Oak. She preceded him in death in 2004. Hank was a self-employed carpenter.

Surviving Hank are his daughters Esther (Mark) Richman of Ft. Wayne, IN, Lori (Trell) Meade of Warsaw, IN, Martha (James) Mullins of Pierceton, IN, sons Leland (Deb) Wickey of Centreville, Wilbur (Cindy) Wickey of Spencerville, IN, Marvin Wickey of Three Rivers, 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Suzanne Wickey, son Allen Wickey, 3 brothers Sam, Chris & Rudy Wickey, 4 sisters Lula Yoder, Barbara Schmucker, Anna Wickey & Katie Schwartz.

Relatives and friends will be received Friday from 1-3 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Graveside Services will follow at 4 p.m. at the Locust Grove Mennonite Cemetery in Burr Oak with Pastor Harold Carpenter of Calvary Chapel, Sturgis, officiating.
