Helene Lillian Hull, age 92,

of Centreville, MI,



passed away Tuesday, January 6th, at Fairview Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, Centreville. Helene was born in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, on March 21, 1922, a daughter of John and Martha (Kolecki) Zygar. On June 11, 1946, she married Carl George Hull, Sr. in Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2008. Helene attended school in Pike County, Pennsylvania and worked as a seamstress for several different companies. She was a long time member of the California Road Missionary Church, enjoyed doing word search puzzles, and loved her family and friends. She especially liked to dance and loved teasing her nieces and nephews.

Helene is survived by a daughter, Madelyn (Larry) Sain, of Florida; two sons Carl (Ellen) Hull, of Centreville, and Jim (Judith Hanley) Hull, of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Pearl, of Maryland, and Irene, of Florida; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, a sister, and a grandchild.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will occur at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to California Road Missionary Church, 29765 County Road 12, Elkhart, IN 4651. Arrangements were entrusted to Eley Funeral Home in Centreville.
