Gloria N. Mann age 80 of Mottville Twp.. passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 28th, 2008 at her home. She was born in Bagley, Wisconsin, on September 29, 1928, a daughter of Adolph and Margaret (Belson) Horn. Gloria graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1946. After meeting Kenneth Mann on a blind date, they were later married on June 26, 1948 in the Mottville Bible Church. Gloria worked for Avon for over 30 years, where she was a member of the Avon President's Club and retired in 1996. She was also a member of the American Legions Women's Auxiliary and Trinity Missionary Church where she was a youth group leader. Gloria was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She will be especially missed for the notes of love and encouragement. Surviving Gloria are her husband Kenneth of Mottville, daughter Melanie Mann of Sturgis, sons Randy (Cindy) Mann of White Pigeon, David (Peggy) Mann of Constantine, five grandchildren Branden Mann, Benjamin Mann, Shea Hawle y, Colin Hawley and Joshua Mann. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Bernice Martin and Evangeline Horn. Relatives and friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious Services will be held at the Trinity Missionary Church in Constantine at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3rd, with Reverends Gary Hinkle and Terry Neumayer officiating. Mausoleum Encryptment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Pregnancy Helpline or Commission on Aging.
