Glenna Maxine Fisher Age 93, of Battle Creek and formerly of Centreville, died February 18, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 13, 1931 in Big Rapids, MI a daughter of Loren and Rose (Troupe) Olson. Glenna graduated from Big Rapids Schools with the class of 1949 and received her Bachelors degree in Home Economics from Glen Oaks Community College and Western Michigan University. On June 14, 1947 she married Donald L. Fisher in Big Rapids. He preceded her in death January 4, 2012.
Glenna was employed at Coldwater Schools as a Home Economics teacher and also as bookkeeper for Drug stores with her husband Don. She also worked as a Real Estate Agent, Hairdresser and was a Soda Girl in her early years.
She was a member of St. Clare's Catholic Church in Centreville and served as Branch County Commissioner in 1976.
Surviving are her daughter Debra Fisher, daughters in law Lana Fisher, Carolyn Fisher and Joanie Fisher, grandchildren Ron (Christine) Fisher, Rose Witters, Matthew (Cassie)Fisher, Rebecca Fisher, Rachel (Glen) Everett, Elizabeth Hernandez, Jon (Robin) Fisher, many great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Joe, Richard and Donald, sisters Mary Johnson, Barbara Vining, Ruth Ann Kailing, and Kay Meink, brothers Loren and John Olson
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, May 3, 2025 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Centreville from 10-11 AM, where a Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Clare's Catholic Church, c/o Immaculate Conception Church, 645 S. Douglas St, Three Rivers, MI 49093.
