Glenn  E. Lovejoy, age 96, of Constantine, MI , passed away Monday June 24th, 2013 at Borgess Medical Center.  He was born in  Middlebury, IN on April 3, 1917, the son of Ezra and Matilda (Roderick) Lovejoy.  Glenn graduated from Middlebury Public Schools. He served his country during WWII in the Army Infantry.  He was a member of the Middlebury American Legion.  On April 3, 1954 he married Lucile (Schumacher) Chenoweth in Bristol, IN.  Glenn was a life long farmer and enjoyed spending time with his family.



Surviving are his wife, Lucile, son, Glenn (Sandy) Lovejoy, White Pigeon, daughter, Dolores (Ron) Kulp, Constantine, son, Don (Nancy) Chenoweth, Constantine, grandchildren, Crystal Kulp, Livonia, Stacy Lovejoy (Mike Rodefer) W. Manchester, OH, Heather (John) Boynton, Dowagiac, Jamie (Todd) Montandon, White Pigeon, Justin Kulp, Constantine, gt. granddaughter, Kate Montandon, several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Walter, Guy, and  Milton Lovejoy, sisters, Mildred Lovejoy, Irene Phillips & Ruth Jacob.



Relatives and family will be received Thursday, June 27 from 5-8 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine.  Religious services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, Constantine with  Pastor Dennis Smith  officiating.  Interment will be in White Pigeon  Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to  St. Joseph County 4- H.  Online messages may be left for the family below.
