Gary Lee Hart, 57 of Knox, IN, passed away June 6, 2021 at Northwest Health of LaPorte, IN. Gary was born in Three Rivers, MI on July 14, 1963, a son of Floyd and Bette (Schooner) Hart. He graduated from Three Rivers High School and went on to serve in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, playing hunting and fishing games, and was a jack of all trades. Gary was an avid NASCAR fan, especially favoring Dale Earnhart Sr., then Jr.

Surviving Gary are his daughter Josie (Jesse) Parker of Sturgis, son Kevin Mason of Sturgis, son Tyler Hart of Pipe Creek, TX, son Ryan Hart of Pipe Creek, TX, grandchildren Joel, Josh, Blake, Anthony, and Abalina, sisters Brenda (Alan) Dury of Angola and Barbara (Carl) Long of Elkhart, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim Hart.

According to his wishes, Gary graciously donated his organs to Donate Life, Indiana. Cremation will then take place. No public services will be held. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
