Frances L. (Wolgamood) (Mercer) Rohrbacher, 65, of Catawba, N.C. and formerly of Constantine, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at her home following a long battle with cancer. She was born in Three Rivers on Sept. 1, 1945, the daughter of Bob and Dorothy (Hull) Wolgamood. Frances graduated from Constantine High School in 1963 where she had been a cheerleader.
In December 2004, Frances married Jamie Rohrbacher in Newton, N.C. She worked in Quality Control at Days Molding in Constantine for 26 years, retiring in 2006. She enjoyed gardening and antiques and loved her log home that she helped build in North Carolina.
Surviving Frances are her husband, Jamie Rohrbacher of Catawba, N.C.; mother, Dorothy Schrock of Constantine; father, Bob (Ruth) Wolgamood, Sr. of White Pigeon; sons, Mitchell (Tamara) Mercer of Three Rivers, Martin (Julie) Mercer of Catawba, N.C., grandchildren, Anthony Mercer of Hickory, N.C. and Brooke Mercer of Three Rivers; brother, Robert (Judy) Wolgamood Jr. of Constantine; half-sisters, Ellen Montgomery of Manistee, Tina Hossler of White Pigeon; half-brothers, Milo (Phyllis) Reiff of Constantine and Jerry Wolgamood of White Pigeon.
Private graveside interment services were held at White Pigeon Township Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 11, with Pastor Marilyn Schlimgen of the First Congregational United Church of Christ officiating.
