Eric L. Stafford, 37 of Mottville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 17, 2019.  He was born in Sturgis on October 16, 1981, a son of Brad Stafford and Lisa (Swart) Finch.  He attended Middlebury schools.  Eric currently worked as a swingman for Coachman RV in Middlebury and previously for Thor Motor Coach.  On June 9, 2019, he married Ashley Schwall in Mottville.  Eric loved riding dirt bikes and anything adventurous, like fireworks, kayaking, and gaming.

Surviving Eric are his parents Brad (Brenda) Stafford of White Pigeon and Lisa (Larry) Finch Sr. of Middlebury; wife Ashley Schwall; sons Gavin, Ayden, Jayden, and Corbin; brothers Dustin, David, and Nathan Stafford; step brothers Aaron Holdread, Larry Finch Jr., Corrie Finch, Jason Finch, Heidi Finch Roe, and Andrew Finch,  aunts Randi Witek and Mary Ewing; and many nieces and nephews.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Eric's life at the home of Brad Stafford, 69090 Blue School Rd., White Pigeon, Saturday July 20, 2019 at 5 pm.
