Elsie M. Ludwig, 84, of Jones, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Borgess Medical Center. Elsie was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 10, 1934, a daughter of Mabel (Quake)and Jesse Arnold.  She attended school in Three Rivers.  On August 26, 1950, she married Orson "Bud" Ludwig in Three Rivers; he preceded her in death on May 28, 2006.

Elsie retired from Arco Industries in Schoolcraft.  She loved watching soap operas with her sister and enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, and sketching animals.

Surviving Elsie are her five sons: Daniel (Judy) Ludwig of Three Rivers, Kenneth (Miyo) Ludwig of Three Rivers, Jack (Lisa) Ludwig of Three Rivers, Dale (Gena) Ludwig of Jones, and Joseph (Yvonne) Ludwig of Howe; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and sister Janice White of Three Rivers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother William "Red" Arnold, and sisters Pearl Haggerty and Ella Pagels.
