Dorothy L. Hassinger Age 82 Constantine died November 6, 2022 at her home. She was born August 1, 1940 in South Bend, a daughter of Leslie and Mamie ( Middleton) Arbogast. Dorothy graduated from White Pigeon High School in 1958. On June 29, 1963 she married Roscoe Hassinger at Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine. Dorothy was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, and active in Meeks Mill Garden Club. She and Roscoe also enjoyed Sheltie dogs including Sparky, Smokey and Misty. Surviving are her husband Roscoe Hassinger, Constantine, sons Mike (Becky) Hassinger, Three Rivers, Scott (Joy) Hassinger, Three Rivers, grandson Aaron (Hannah) Hassinger and great grandchildren Miles and Mia Hassinger all of Vicksburg, sisters in law Norma Moord and Dorothy (Bud) Jennings, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jeffery Hassinger, mother and father in law Merritt and Cleo Hassinger, brothers in law John Hassinger and Olney Moord. Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday from 4 - 7 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. where Religious services will be held 11 am Thursday, with Pastor Tom Pederson, Messiah Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Messiah Lutheran Church or Meeks Mill Garden Club.
