Doris A. Gross, age 76 of Constantine, passed away on Monday, October 25th, 2010 at her home.  She was born in White Pigeon on March 3, 1934,  a daughter of  Edward and Irene (Weber) Easterday. Doris attended White Pigeon Schools. On December, 29, 1951 she married Robert E. Gross in Angola, IN. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2006.  Doris dedicated her life to her family and home, and loved being a grandma and great grandma. She traveled winters to Texas, and played cards, dice, and crossword puzzles. Doris also made crochet blankets for orphans in Mexico. Surviving Doris are her daughters  Sherry (Rick Milliman) Skinner of White Pigeon, Debra (Doug) Ely of Constantine, Rene (Mike) Bates of White Pigeon, son Robert (Kim) Gross, Jr. of Hot Springs, Ark, grandchildren Jason (Malea) Jacobs, Justin (Heather) Jacobs, Gary (Tara) Bates, Allena Bates, Michael "Buck" Bates, Brittany (Darrin) Mast, Erika (Ray Bloom) Gross, great grandchildren  Austin Gross, Trenton Bates, Dominick Jacobs, Cayden Mast, Koltin Gross, Matthew Bates, Carson Jacobs, Kenadee Jacobs, Kaitlyn Jacobs, Makenna Mast, and special friend Clifford Jacobs.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Buddy Easterday, sisters Nancy Penick and Barb Jacobs.According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Friday from 6-7 pm  at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Memorial Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Owen of First Baptist Church of Newberg will  officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Three Rivers Health Hospice 222 S.
