Obituary

Doris Mae Bezaury, 93, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully with family at her side on January 9, 2015 at Casa De La Luz Hospice in Tucson Arizona. Born to Fred and Iva Hochstetler August 11, 1921 in Elkhart Indiana, Doris was raised in Constantine, Michigan, graduating from Constantine High School in 1939. The majority of her career was spent working for the Upjohn Company, Kalamazoo Michigan in the Patent Law Department.

As a single parent, Doris focused on her family's needs first. When retired she enjoyed playing golf, taking trips and visiting family and her many friends. She loved to cook, and always had an extra place at the table for her son's friends or family. Her grandchildren were her passion.

Doris is survived by her son Bruce Bezaury and daughter-in-law Cindy Bezaury of Oro Valley Arizona, son Brian Bezaury of Dunedin Florida, grandchildren Jessica Bezaury of Tucson Arizona, Heather (husband John) Perella of Tampa Florida, and Bradley (wife Daniyel) Bezaury of Brandon Florida, great grandchildren Ryan, Jordan and Ethan Bezaury of Brandon Florida, and Avery Perella of Tampa Florida, brother Donald (wife Marty) Hochstetler of Three Rivers, Michigan, and sister Betty Thomas of Portage, Michigan. Doris is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives that she had great affection for.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Iva Hochstetler, brothers Roscoe and Kenneth Hochstetler and brother-in-law Donald Thomas.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Constantine Township Cemetery on May 9th, 2015 at 11:00 am. with Pastor Scott Manning officiating. After the ceremony there will be a luncheon at the Constantine United Methodist Church where the family will be greeting friends and relatives. If the weather does not cooperate, the memorial service will be moved to the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine Michigan.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Western Michigan Humane Society or charity of your choice.
