Donald E Buel, Sr., age 65 of Constantine, passed away Friday, September 7th, 2012 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born in Three Rivers on January 17, 1947,  a son of  Raymond  and Edna  (Nichols) Buel. Don graduated from Three Rivers High School and received his Electrician training at Glen Oaks Community College. On July 2, 1986 Don married Linda (Arnold) McDaniel on the Island of Kauai, Hawaii. He worked as an electrician at Lear Corp. in Mendon for 7 years retiring in 2004. Don previously worked at the Constantine Paper Mill and ARCO of Schoolcraft. He was an avid trap shooter, and loved to ride snowmobiles and motorcycles.Surviving are his wife Linda Buel, Constantine, daughter Daneen Berkey, Minnesota, son Donald Beul Jr., Constantine, step sons  Rick McDaniel, Constantine, Tom (Paula) McDaniel, Constantine, sisters  Alice Stockdale, Three Rivers, Mary (Ken) Wright, Three Rivers, Jeanette Mullett, White Pigeon, brother Roy Buel, Three Rivers, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ruth Slack and brothers Clifford, Eugene and Judson.Cremation has taken place. There will be no public services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Co. Animal Rescue Fund PO Box 593 Centreville, MI  49032. Arrangements were entrusted to Eley Funeral Homes, Constantine.
