Don Allen Connelly of White Pigeon, Michigan entered his eternal rest on Monday, November 24, 2025, Born January 10, 1936, he passed at his winter home in Lake Wales, Florida. Don was 89 years old.

Don worked for the paper mill in White Pigeon for over 40 years, priding himself in his work ethic, rarely taking a day off in his career. He enjoyed card games, horseshoes, woodworking, gardening and watching football. He also enjoyed family vacations and traveling with his wife of 68 years, Evelyn, who he married in 1957.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, his sons, Jim (Barbara), Joel (Kim), John, and daughters, Cindy (Michael) and Silvia an “adopted” German exchange that Don and Evelyn hosted. Grandchildren, Brian, Eric (Rochelle), Katie, John (Mandy), Joel (Jenny), Nathan (Kara), Jason, Shaun, Crystal (Brad), Jessica (Nick), Ashley (Neil), and great-grandchildren: Maveric, Van, Evalynn, Sarah, Caleb, Liam, Brooklyn, Layla, Kenneth, Tinley, Lily, Everett, Silas, Holden, Robert, Emily, Carson, Michael, Declan and Chandler.

Memorial services for Don will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the White Pigeon Methodist Church, 204 N. Kalamazoo St., White Pigeon, MI 49099 with a luncheon to follow and all are welcome.

A private family interment will take place at a later date.
