Dennis L. Bastian, 80 of Mottville, passed away January 29, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Dennis was born in Lawton on January 18, 1941. He served in the US Army. On December 14, 1963, he married Sharon Skinner in Lawton; she preceded him in death on June 13, 2016. Dennis was employed at Byer's Barn Mfg. in Lawton.

Dennis is survived by his daughter Shelli (Bruce) Rhoades of Schoolcraft; son Clinton Bastian of Muskegon; grandchildren Tanner Bastian, Tasha Bastian, Kassie Rhoades, Tiffany McKay, and Bruce Rhoades Jr.; and great grandchildren Cayden, Keegan, Diesel, Zayne, Kenzie, Rylee, Zak, Aiden, Emberly, and Gage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Waylan Brown and Lillian Brown, wife, grandson Ryan Bastian, and brothers Cliff, Bob, Wendall, Kenny, and Lynn Bastian.
