David Michael Ruth, age 21 of Constantine, died January 2, 2025. He was born May 7, 2003 in Three Rivers, a son of Bethany Handshoe and Bryan Ruth. David attended Centreville Public Schools through the 8th grade, then graduated from Constantine High School in 2021. He worked as a painter at STP Painting of White Pigeon. David was a UFC fanatic and an avid Detroit Lions fan. He could tell you anything you'd need to know about it too. He had a sweet soul that lit up a room, and was a friend to everyone. David always wanted the best for everyone.

Surviving David are his mother Bethany (Jim Fry-Stepdad) Handshoe, Constantine; father Bryan Ruth, Union City; grandparents Jerry Handshoe, Howe, Melissa Shafer, Mottville; brother Anthony (Acacia Davis) Ruth, Lansing; beloved girlfriend Fatima Ghaffar, Goshen; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother Nancy Handshoe.

Relatives and friends will be received Monday, January 6 from 3-5PM, at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 PM. with Pastor Brenno Aquino officiating.  Cremation will take place after services.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Eley Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
