David A. Jacobs, age 73 of Marcellus, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at his home after a brief illness. He was born September 18, 1952 in Three Rivers, a son of Royce and Helen (Schultz) Jacobs. David graduated from Constantine High School in 1970. On October 18, 1989 he married Kristi Smith in Cassopolis. He was a farmer, working for Terry Davis until his retirement. After retiring, David continued to work for Terry Davis and several other local farmers. David had a great work ethic, he could do anything, and was always happy and willing to help anyone. He loved his grandchildren and attending their many sporting events.  David especially enjoyed being outdoors and deer hunting.

Surviving are his wife Kristi Jacobs, Marcellus; sons Justin (Heather) Jacobs, Constantine, Jason (Malea) Jacobs, White Pigeon; grandchildren Dominick, Carson, Kenadee, Owen, Katie and Logan; brothers Terrance (Sandra) Jacobs, Constantine, John (Cherie) Jacobs, Sturgis; sister Bonnie (Fred) Ferrah, Elkhart; and many nieces and nephews.  David also loved and helped raise Kristi's nieces and nephews Alexis, Jayden and Sabrina. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
