Cornelia Hamilton, age 90, of Constantine, passed away at her home on November 8th, 2014. She was born in Goshen, IN on September 22, 1924, a daughter of the late Nick and Martha (Hoogenboom) Dykstra. She attended Goshen High School. On January 1, 1953 she married Dean Hamilton at Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine. Cornelia was a homemaker, a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and previously worked at Johnson Controls. She volunteered at the Food Bank and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and reading.



Cornelia is survived by daughters, Lynne (Mark) Cornish, Northville, MI, Alicia (Jesse) Jakomait, Colorado Springs, CO, son, Mark Hamilton, Constantine, sister, Rodean Schrock, Goshen, grandchildren, Jesse Cornish and Jamie Cornish. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dean.



Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, November 15 from 9-11 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine with Religious Services following at 11:00 am with Pastor Dennis Smith officiating. Interment will take place at Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Messiah Lutheran Church.
