Walther, Charles Lewis, passed away, Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Beloved father of Karen (John) Armour, Kathy Poole, and the late Kurt Walther; dearest grandfather and great-grandfather; loving son of the late Charles and Adrienne Walther; dear nephew of the late R. Paul and Dorothy Walther; brother of Bernadine Gilliam, Carol DeMeyer Prater; cousin to Linda Whitcomb and Robert (Tina) Walther; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Chuck was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 11, 1932. His family moved to Mottville, Michigan where he graduated from Constantine High School. After serving 4 years in the Army during the Korean War he used the GI bill and graduated from Michigan State University. Chuck eventually landed in St. Louis, Missouri where he loved the St. Louis baseball Cardinals and was surrounded by his friends. His favorite holiday was Thanksgiving where he was able to be surrounded by his loving family. He will be deeply missed.

Graveside Services will be at White Pigeon Cemetery, 200 West Vermont Ave, White Pigeon MI 49099 on Saturday, July 13th at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of life will follow, location to be announced after the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org) or Michigan State University (cvm.msu.edu/friends-alumni/how-to-give).
