Charlene Frances Heslet, age 63, of Constantine, died March 19, 2020 at her home. She was born on February 7, 1957 in Garden City, MI, a daughter of Edward and Mary (Lesnaik) Liebert. Charlene attended school in Garden City. She was employed by Dollar General in St. Joseph County as a store set up specialist. Later she began doing childcare for family and friends. Charlene enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and flowers. She also was devoted to saving any stray animal that needed a home.

Surviving are her children Jennifer (Charles) Taylor, Angela Kennedy both of Constantine, and Michael E. (Karen) Lucas, Interlochen, MI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Elbert Liebert and Larry Niebert; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Ciara Lucas, and brother Edward Liebert.

Cremation has taken place, memorial services will be held at a later date.
