Charlene M. Durbin, age 78 of Mottville, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at her home.  She was born July 27, 1945 in Battle Creek, a daughter of Paul and Addie (Babcok) Stevens.  Charlene graduated from Pennfield High School in 1963. Following this she attended Beauty School. Charlene held a variety of jobs, working at Pioneer in Constantine, Manfilters, in Battle Creek, Boardwalk in Bristol, and at the Daycare at Milford Nursing Home. On December 18, 1988, she married William Durbin in Nappanee IN.

Surviving Charlene are her husband William Durbin, Mottville; daughters Michele Cody, Angie Durbin, and Rebecca Gibson; grandchildren Ashley Durbin, James Durbin, Sheridan Cody, Amber Durbin, Robert Cody, Danielle Cody, Michael Bresnahan, Curtis Kilbourn and Courtney Kilbourn; brother Charles Stevens; sister Paula Mack; step-children John Durbin and Deb Durbin; several step-grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jackie Rneá; granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth; sister Ann Rugg; and brother Patrick Sells.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be no public service.
