Carl P. Frisbie, age 92, of Oxford and formerly of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester. He was born in Sullivan, IN on February 4, 1916, a son of Ralph and Pauline (Sohlke) Frisbie. On January 6, 1936 he married Martha Gilliam in Sullivan, IN. She preceded him in death on July 31, 1996. Carl had worked as a truck driver for the Hy-Grade Electric Co. in Chicago, IL. Previously he had been a Milk Man for Borden's Milk in Bloomfield Hills. Carl restored old tractors and enjoyed nature and the woods. Surviving Carl are his daughters Judy Disser of Brandon, FL, Carol Hash of Martinville, IN, sister Mary E. Spence of Tavares, FL, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, nieces Rebecca S. Boisvert, Leonard, MI, Jo Jackson, Melborne, FL, and nephews Jesse Harris, Mt. Dora, FL and David Harris, Murphyboro, IL. He was preceded in death by his par ents, wife, brother Ralph Frisbie, Jr. and an infant brother. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives wil be received Thursday from 10-11 am at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine where Memorial Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
