Brian Kent Christophel, age 58 of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Community Health Center in Coldwater. Brian was born in LaGrange, IN on August 4, 1957, a son of Donald and Elizabeth "Betty" (Black) Christophel.

Surviving are his sisters Dawn "Carolyn" (Tom) Jones, Constantine, Gaile (Jerry) Schroeder, Cassopolis; brothers Mike (Terri) Christophel, Three Rivers, Chris (Carolyn) Christophel, Texas; half-sister Janey (John) Kriekard, AZ; 7 nieces and 4 nephews; 8 great nieces and 4 great nephews; and 1 great-great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Grace & Carl Christophel, Beverly & Harry Glant, and Arthur Black.

Relatives and friends will be received Monday from 2-6 pm at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine where Religious Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am with Pastor Steve Steele officiating. Interment will be in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart. Memorials may be directed to the family for Brian's headstone.
