Betty Jane (Bickle) Spencer, 94 of Constantine, MI, passed away Saturday, August 2nd, at Heartland Health Care Center. Betty was born in Constantine, MI on June 8, 1920, a daughter of Harold and Mildred (Noel) Bickle. On October 30, 1943, she married William Spencer in Three Rivers. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1987.

Betty graduated from Constantine High School in 1938 and attended Lamar Beauty Academy in Battle Creek. She was employed as a beautician at Florence Beauty Shop, Constantine from 1939-1944.

Betty is survived by sons William (Maria) Spencer of White Pigeon; Kenneth "Bud" Spencer of Elkhart; Tommy (Cindy) Spencer of Constantine; Raymond (Susan) Spencer of Constantine, MI; grandchildren Alicia (Ben) Geisler of Constantine, Mike (Cindy) Spencer of Constantine, Stacy (Tom) Albert of Elkhart, Jennifer (Tom) Rogers of Texas, Jeff (Kim) Spencer of Centreville, and Marc (Amy) Spencer of Constantine; and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Harold "Smokey", Robert, and Richard Bickle.

Graveside services and interment will be held at Constantine Township Cemetery on Monday at 11pm with Dennis Smith (Messiah Lutheran Church of Constantine) officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Health Care Center Activities Fund.
