Betty Jean McClain, age 91
Constantine

Died January 20, 2018, at Heartland Health Care in Three Rivers. She was born December 10, 1926 in Three Rivers, a daughter of George and Frieda (Brown) Young. Betty graduated from Constantine High School. On July 20, 1946 she married Charles McClain in Constantine. Betty worked at Denton Mills, Centreville, Constantine Creamery, and Continental Can in Three Rivers. She was a member of Porter Baptist Church and enjoyed camping, travel and cooking.
Surviving are her husband Charles McClain, Constantine, son David McClain, Constantine, Grandchildren Brad (Kari) McClain, Three Rivers, Kathy McClain, Florida, great grandchildren Kayla-Christine Martin, South Bend, Zoe McClain, Three Rivers, great great grandson Eli Martin, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Linda McClain, sister Beverly Peterson, and brother Lowell 'Sonny' McClain.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday at 1pm at Porter Baptist Church followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Randy Peterson will officiate. Memorials may be directed to Porter Baptist Church. Online messages may be left for the family at www.eleyfuneralhomes.com.
