Barbara Mitzi Walton, age 82 of Nottawa, passed away , Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at Three Rivers Health Hospital. She was born on June 2, 1930  a daughter of Frank and Barbara (Priborsky) Walter in Coldwater, MI. Barbara graduated from Coldwater High School in 1951 and attended Glen Oaks Community College, receiving her LPN degree. On November 14, 1952 she married  Charles D. Walton in Coldwater. Barbara began working as a nurse at Fairview Nursing Home in Centreville. She later worked at Borgess Hospital then Three Rivers Hospital retiring in 1995. Barbara enjoyed reading, watching TV and being involved in 4-H with her children.



Surviving are her Husband Charles D. Walton, Nottawa, Larry (Angie) Walton, Nottawa, Billy (Theresa Metz) Walton, Sturgis,  Jon (Sheila) Walton, Nottawa, daughter Nancy Walton of Nottawa, 8 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a brother Francis Walter of Galesburg, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.



Relatives and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Religious Services will be held Monday at 11 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Clint Zehr officiating. Interment will follow at Nottawa Cemetery.
