Barbara Lee Shearer age 85 of White Pigeon, passed away Saturday, February 8th, 2014 at her home. She was born in Culver, IN on December 10, 1928. In December 1963 she married Eddie L. Shearer in Elkhart. Barbara was owner & operator of Riverview Tavern, (Ma's Place) in White Pigeon for 50 years.

Surviving are her husband Eddie Shearer, White Pigeon, sons Michael (Danni) Shearer, Goshen, IN, Terry Shearer, White Pigeon, grandchildren Loren (Gary) Neverske, White Pigeon, Tiffani (Jovan) Howard, Colorado Springs, CO, Courtney (Ken) Bracket, Burr Oak, Juliet Wilson, Goshen, Joshua Shearer, Goshen, great grandchildren Artez Howard, Ayden Neverske, Femia Bracket, and 2 more on the way.

Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday 10 am - 2 pm, at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, with services immediately following at 2:00 pm. Pastor Mike Shearer of Community Church of Waterford will officiate. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
