Barbara Jean Phenicie, age 71, Peachtree City, GA, passed away November 14, 2013. Barbara was born September 5, 1942 in Toledo, OH the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Yackee) Kolb. Barbara had been married to her husband, Dale Phenicie for 51 years. Barbara graduated from Constantine High School in 1960, and received her Associates Degree of Secretarial Science from Western Michigan University in 1962. She was a long time teacher's aid at the First Presbyterian Kindergarten and Preschool, she was also an Elder and a Deacon at the church.



Surviving Barbara are her husband Dale Phenicie, daughter Jennifer Phenicie of Kalamazoo, MI, son Mark (Lisa) Phenicie, Cullman, AL, Jonathan Phenicie, Cumming GA, grandchildren Morgan Finkle, Caitlin, Aaron, Brianna, and Makayla Phenicie, sister Diane (Larry) Wine, Portage, MI, several aunts & uncles and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Brian Phenicie.



Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious services will follow at 1 p.m. with Kathy Schuen, First Congregational United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be at Constantine Cemetery.
