Barbara Jean May, age 73 of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, November 13th, 2009 at her home, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Three Rivers on March 1, 1936, a daughter of the late Charles and Gaynell (Bryson) Johnson. Barb worked at Drake Casket Company in Constantine for 15 years. Barbara enjoyed crochet, especially making Christmas ornaments for her family. She also enjoyed watching game shows on TV. Surviving Barb are her four sons Dennis (Cindy) May of Orange Park, FL, John (Linda) May of Three Rivers, Rick (Denise) May of TN, James (Sheila) May of Ark, 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Charles May, 5 brothers, 1 step brother and 1 step sister. Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Religious Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am. Reverend Barbara Van Eck, Chaplain, Borgess Hospice, will officiate. Interment will be at Leonidas Cemetery.
