Anna Friend-Isaac, age 86  of Constantine, died February 3, 2012 at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo  She was born August 25, 1925 in Rieglekoph, Germany, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Muhr) Schreiber.  Anna attended schools in Germany then immigrated to the United States in 1948, coming to Constantine.  On December 19, 1953 she married Harley Friend in Angola , he preceded her  on  October 12, 1990.  On September 14, 1991 she married LuVergne Isaac at Corey Church of the Nazarene, he preceded her on January 20, 2011.  Anna was a member of the Corey Church of the Nazarene, Three Rivers, the Arthur Stears Post American Legion #223, and the German American Club of Kalamazoo.



Surviving are her sisters, Josefa (Marvin) Fuller, Constantine, Helga Cook & friend Steven Gary, Mendon,  Martha Kauer, Germany, nephews & nieces  Myron (Leanne) Fuller, Bryan (Melody) Fuller, Esther (Kermit) Parsons, Todd (Tracie) Cook, Lisa Jim) Batten,  step-daughter, Janet (Ron) Phillips, Wilson, NC, step-sons, James  (Alma) Isaac, Silsbee, TX, Harold John (April) Isaac, Constantine, step-daughter-in-law Maxine Isaac, Constantine, and several grandchildren & great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sister Elizabeth Vaitl and brother Joseph Schreiber.



Relatives and friends will be received at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine Sunday from 1-4 pm, where Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Carr, Corey Church of the Nazarene officiating.
