Alan Jay Schrader, age 82 of Constantine, formerly of Nottawa, died June 22, 2025 at his home. He was born September 25, 1942 in Sturgis ,a son of Louis and Agnes (Teller) Schrader. Alan graduated from Centreville High School in 1960. He served in the US Army from 1962 until 1968. Alan worked as a saw operator for SEKURE Dome and Mirrors, formerly Ram Products in Sturgis.

Surviving are his children Stacey Lahman, Shane Schrader and Bryan Schrader; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Frances (Gary) Penn; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Kenneth Schrader; and sister Jane Eymer.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes will be in Nottawa Township Cemetery.
